“Who will roll away the stone from the tomb of our hearts where hope has died?” Bishop Paul reminds us that we should have the courage to approach the tombs in our lives “hoping against hope” and discover that it still happens that the stones are rolled away.
Staying near the cross implies a commitment also for us. It does not need a lot of words, only compassion and the readiness to offer hospitality and communion to people who are suddenly deprived of their beloved ones.
