The Lay Organizations affiliated to the AVOSA Family Ministry – Marriage Encounter (ME), Couples for Christ (CFC), Missionary Families of Christ (MFC), Jesus Youth (JY) Family continued to keep their members busy and active during this period.
Couples for Christ (CFC) Most CFC activities are continuing online; the regular house-hold prayer meeting, formation teachings, Area Assemblies and so on. The monthly CFC UAE Mission Core Online Prayer Assembly and Teaching had taken place as usual.
CFC Kids for Christ (KFC) had conducted their Annual Global Day of Service (GDS). Having started in 2010, it is conducted every weekend in September in every CFC chapter around the world. All KFC members and their families, friends, and the whole CFC Community share the joy of Christ with others by doing acts of love and service, especially reaching out to those who are on the perepheries. Some of these acts of love and service include feeding and gift giving, tree planting, community or coastal cleaning, visiting elders, the sick and so on.
With every family having to now adjust to the new normal, KFC were called to make the most of it by focussing on home-based activities. Hence the 11th GDS was titled, 'Heroes at Home, Agents of God’s Goodness', with the aim to motivate and inspire families to share their blessings with other families. It ran for the whole month of September, culminating in a live broadcast via facebook on 25 - 27 September.
Missionary Families of Christ (MFC) The Missionary Families of Christ (MFC) had also continued with their usual activities online for their couples, singles, youth and kids through their General and Area Assemblies, Christian Life Seminar Workshops, Bible Study and Constant Rosary.
