St. Michael's Parish Sharjah organises a two-day event for the youth on the 28th evening and 29th morning. The event is aimed primarily towards the youth who are not regular to Church or those who have not yet understood the beauty of the Catholic Church. The theme for the event is "Who do you say that I am?" (Mk 8:29).Through this event we hope to help the youth (aged 13 to 27) to answer for themselves the questions which Jesus asked St. Peter, "Who do you say that I am?" We hope by the end of the two days they will understand some points on the unconditional love of Jesus, the beauty and role of Church in their life and the importance of belonging and being part of the Church.
To make the entire event interactive and interesting, talent shows, inspiring & interactive talks, games and also a special Q & A session with a expert panel comprising of priests, catechists, preachers and youth coordinators are planned.
About 700 youth have already registered for the event.
