Funeral Service of Fr. John Van Deerlin

Bishop Paul Hinder presided at the Funeral Mass for Fr. John Van Deerlin held at Old Mission San Louis Rey Church in Ocenside, San Diego California on August 27, 2014. He was assisted by the Benedictine Abbot of Oceanside Monastery, Fr. Tony Lacson, Fr. Michael O'Sullivan and Deacon Reilly.



The family - his brother Jeff and the three sisters Liz, Susie and Vicky, some friends and two people from Dubai were present. Afterwards the ashes of Fr. John were interred in the family tomb of the Van Deerlin in the Epiiscopalian Cemetery.
