Conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of the Vicariate

The Annual General Meeting of the Vicariate concluded at Abu Dhabi yesterday in the presence of the Bishop H.E. Paul Hinder, the Nuncio H.G. Archbishop Petar Rajic.

The Bishop presented his annual report which encompassed the various diverse activities of the Church in Southern Arabia. In the wake of the recent synod on the family, the Nuncio spoke to the participants on the theme "The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and in the modern world."

Representatives of the various Vicariate offices presented their annual reports. Participants included 66 members of the clergy and religious from the UAE, Oman and Yemen. Detailed minutes of the meeting will follow.
