The Vicariate Family Ministry is established with the vision of building happy, stable and Christ-centered families among the faithful. The Office is headed by Fr. Arul Edward Joseph OFM Cap. based in Dubai. Fr. Arul is assisted by Mr. Clitson Joseph (Coordinator), Mrs. Annabelle Williams (Secretary) and Mr. John Thomas (Treasurer). In addition, the Family Ministry also has coordinators from every parish and representatives from major lay organisations and movements (Couples for Christ, Marriage Encounter and Jesus Youth).
Members from the Family Ministry support and organize several initiatives and programmes at the parish level to strengthen the the sacramental bond of marriage and the institution of the family at various levels. Some of these include Marriage Preparation Courses, Wedding Anniversary Masses, organizing Mass Weddings and Get Togethers for Singles. The Ministry also organizes seminars dealing with Parenting, Financial aspects, Inner Healing, Anger Management and for Teens and Youth.
This year, the Family Ministry also leads a 100 member strong group to the World Meeting of Families in Dublin, following the call of Pope Francis to families world-wide to gather together for a festival celebrating the family as one of God’s greatest gifts for human kind.

- St. Mary’s Dubai will be conducting their ME weekends in the last two weeks of May
Upcoming Events:- The 16th General Body Meeting of the AVOSA Family Ministry will be held at St. Mary's Al-Ain on 4th May 2018.
- Annual Seminar "Care for youth in the Catholic Family" for parents, catechists and all those working with young people on 01 June 2018 (Abu Dhabi) and 02 June 2018 (Jebel Ali).
