28 December 2014 (Sharjah).
Emmanuel Youth, Sharjah celebrated the launch of their book "With Pope Francis", during the Sunday mass on 28th December 2014 celebrated by Father Wissam Al Massadeh, the priest of the Arabic community in the Northern Emirates and the spiritual guide of the Emmanuel youth. Present in attendance were a large number of parishioners, supporters and all those who contributed to this work.
Father Wissam Al Massadeh said, "The idea of this book is very simple, it came out of the mind and became word, was accepted, and believed in. We thought it to be easy and does not require great efforts but we went through difficult situations. We stopped and took tough decisions but by the grace of the Lord those decisions were right."
"This book is rich in vitamins that strengthens the spiritual lives and protects us from many modern spiritual diseases”, he added. Congratulating Emmanuel youth on this great achievement he told them, “This is the fruit of your faith and your determination to achieve this unborn idea. You believed in each idea, fed your souls, and gave the world everything that is good. Good is God, good is Jesus Christ. Don't be afraid and don't hesitate to start. If God is with us then who is against us?"
Father Al Massadeh said: "This book contains many spiritual vitamins as it is rich in:
- 2 vitamin H 'Humility" and “Hope”
- Vitamin J “Joy”
- Vitamin L “Love”
- Vitamin T "Trust”
- Vitamin C “Courage”
- Vitamin P "Peace”
and more than fifty types of spiritual vitamins."
Directions on how to use this book:
Take it once a day after breakfast in the morning, read it carefully, and see the picture, unleash your spirit to address the word and the image, just you, the word and the image. Interact with them for at least five minutes. Continue the same for 365 days. This will give you positive energy that will accompany you throughout your day. You will get better results if you share this dose with your friends.”
The offerings were the tools that the youth used to make the book: Facebook, Twitter, and selfie picture of some youth with Pope Francis, worksheets, pencils, laptop, With Pope Francis book and the youth flag.
At the end of the mass, thanksgiving prayer and blessing of the books, also a copy of the book was distributed to all those who supported: Abraham Malkonian, Nadia Haddad, Fadi Nahed, Elias Khoriaty, Sleiman Eid and Bassem Abu Nasr.About Emmanuel Youth:
Emmanuel Youth was born in September 2010 with only 6 youth members. Today Emmanuel youth consists of 50 youth members between the age of 18 and 28 from 5 different Arabic nationalities – Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine and Iraq.
