Day of Thanksgiving for the Liberation of Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil

22 September 2017 (Abu Dhabi). 

On Monday, 2 ^nd October, we celebrate the Holy Guardian Angels, a fitting day for our Vicariate to thank God for the protection and liberation of Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil.

Millions of faithful around the world offered fervent prayers during the 18 months of his captivity. I wish that in all the parishes we celebrate the masses of the Holy Guardian Angels with the intention of thanksgiving to God that Fr. Tom is alive and free.

I invite the faithful to come to church for the thanksgiving mass, the adoration hours and other services prepared for the occasion, if possible, or to offer prayers in solidarity wherever you are.
