Bishop Paul invites all of us to offer special intercessory prayers for the people of Ukraine in the wake of the attack of Russia on the country. He also reminds us of the call of our Holy Father to offer this Ash Wednesday's prayer, fasting and prayer for peace in Ukraine.

To all the People in the Apostolic Vicariates of Northern and Southern Arabia
Dear Brother Priests, Religious and Pastoral Collaborators,
Greetings of peace!
The whole world is in shock and anxious about the war between Ukraine and Russia. It is time for us to show our solidarity with the people in Ukraine and support them with our prayer. Therefore, I invite all the parishes and communities to offer prayers during this weekend for peace in Ukraine and the safety of all people. Invite all our faithful to have special intercession for Ukraine.
I also remind you of the call of our Holy Father Pope Francis who has asked us to offer this ash Wednesday’s fasting, penance, and prayer for peace in Ukraine.
May the Lord of Peace, bring peace and protection for all our brethren in Ukraine and bring the war to an end.
