Published below are announcements from Bishop Paul Hinder regarding the departure of Fr. Albert D'Silva and appointment of Fr. Wilson Rumao OFM Cap. as the new Parish Priest. 


Announcement regarding departure of Fr. Albert D'Silva
 
Dear Parishioners of Holy Spirit Church in Ghala,
After 13 years of dedicated ministry in the parishes of Ruwi and of Ghala your parish priest Fr. Albert D’Silva has asked me and his provincial, to be given a sabbatical time of formation and spiritual renewal. In consultation with his religious superiors I have given my consent. Fr. Albert will therefore leave your parish at the end of this month. I am well aware that his departure will leave you with a feeling of sadness. I express my deep gratitude to Fr. Albert for his dedicated work in Ruwi since 2002 and in your parish since February 2010. At the same time I ask you to respect his wish to be relieved, and to accept our decision to grant his request. The appointment of the new parish priest will be communicated in due time. Announcement regarding appointment of Fr. Wilson Rumao as Parish Priest of Holy Spirit Church, Ghala
 
Dear Parishioners of Holy Spirit Church in Ghala,

After consultation with the Custos of the Capuchins in Arabia, Fr. Paul Koenig, I have appointed Fr. Wilson Rumao OFM Cap, currently assistant at Saints Peter and Paul in Ruwi, as parish priest in Ghala Holy Spirit Church. I shall install him on Friday, 2  nd October, at the Mass of 5.30 pm. Thank you for keeping the outgoing parish priest, Fr. Albert, in your prayers, and to welcome the new parish priest with an open heart and to give him your support. I am sure that he will continue the good work.
