Holy Mass in honor of the holy martyrs Arethas and companions. We ask for their intercession for the life of our Apostolic Vicariate and our annual meeting with the priests, nuns, and lay people involved in the pastoral ministry.
Why did these wise men undertake a journey which we can imagine to be long and tiring? First, because they were men who search with restless hearts. If we truly listen to the profound questions of our hearts, we too will set out to seek the face of God.

Following the establishment of full diplomatic relations between the Holy See and the Sultanate of Oman last February, the Holy Father received the new ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Holy See, His Excellency Mr. Mahmood bin Hamed Nasser Al Hasani, on December 30.
